We know how important it is to build up friendships with others who can encourage us along the way. We believe that a Christ-centered life is infinitely more rich when we do life together. Developing relationships with other believers surrounds us with a support system of people to who will both celebrate with us and strengthen us.
Pastor Sweh takes an exegetical approach to Biblical Study. Each week he leads an in-depth discussion that examines the text of Scripture in its original social and historical context, as well how specific passages fit in line with the entirety of The Bible. He also critically looks at language and translation barriers to foster a deeper understanding of what exactly God desires for our lives.
Living a life on mission for Christ effectively requires us to be challenged to think about this life and the people around us the way Christ does. Through discipleship, believers are trained in ways that will help them develop a closer and more vibrant relationship with God. There are opportunities for one-on-one and small group discipleship at The After Church.
Being the church is more than simply being in the church. The After Church is continually evaluating how we can best and most effectively serve our community. We desire to be a church that our community can depend on in times of need and a church that treats all people with the love and respect of Jesus Christ.
