My name is Sweh Velilla, and I’m the Lead Pastor of The After Church. Hopefully you’ve arrived at this page because someone who deeply cares about you has invited you to join us for our Easter celebration. I understand that visiting a new place can be intimidating, so it means a lot that you would consider spending the afternoon with us. Let this page be your basic introduction to our church, but please reach out to me with any questions you have! The top of this page has links to tell you more about us, and below you’ll find more info about Easter Sunday. I can’t wait to meet you in person!

Whether it’s your first time, or you’re a covenant member, we’re delighted to celebrate Easter with you. For our Easter service, you’ll experience:
A worship service beginning with contemporary music, then a message from Pastor Sweh. Service will last about 1.5 hours
A casual atmosphere. Come as you are, or dress up in your Easter best. It’s up to you!
Deep, exegetical preaching that is communicated in a relevant way that any person can connect with
A church family of completely imperfect people who care about each other, and about you
Expect to be loved, to be led, and to belong

You may notice that our address takes you to New City Presbyterian Church. That’s not a mistake! We are privileged to rent their building in the evenings for our 4pm services. The address is 601 W Colfax Ave, South Bend, Indiana

Parking is available in the rear of the building! Look for the sign that says “church parking” with a directional arrow to lead the way

The day will start with an Easter egg hunt at 3:30! Littles ages 5 and under will get a head start before older children are set loose.
During our service from 4-5:30, children ages 5 and under can be taken upstairs to our AfterGlow Kids area. Any families that prefer to keep the whole family together for service are also perfectly welcome to do so
